Videojet showcases advanced printing and marking solutions at Snaxpo 2018

PKBR Staff Writer Published 13 March 2018

Videojet Technologies is showcasing advanced printing and marking solutions at the Snaxpo Exhibition and Conference in Atlanta, US.

The event is being held from 12 March to 14 March at the Georgia World Congress Center.

At the event, the company will showcase a line of coding solutions for snack food packaging, including continuous inkjet (CIJ) printing and thermal transfer overprinting (TTO).

Videojet 1860 CIJ has been developed to be used for high-speed and medium-duty applications.

With ink build-up sensor, Videojet 1860 can offer up to eight hours of advanced notice of common potential fault conditions that can impact OEE and uptime.

Over 50 real-time sensors continuously monitor more than 150 crucial indicators of printer performance to offer diagnostics, analytics and guidance.

Featuring advanced revolutionary iAssure technology, Videojet DataFlex 6530 TTO printer is claimed to be the industry-first integrated code assurance system that automatically evaluates every print for alphanumeric print defects and allows to decrease the packaging waste that results from coding errors.

Videojet marketing and product management director Matt Aldrich said: “Videojet is driven by innovation and providing customers with the most advanced printing and marking solutions for the packaging industry.

“Snaxpo attendees can view a range of advanced solutions designed specifically for coding and marking on snack food packaging that not only delivers high- quality codes, but also aligns with operational goals.”

Videojet provides printing, coding and marking products, as well as application specific fluids, and product lifecycle services.

In February this year, Videojet launched new 3640 CO2 laser marking system for processing complex codes at the highest speeds.

Videojet 3640 CO2 laser solution will provide increased speeds in data processing and communication, allowing customers to code and produce more products on the production line.

The new marking system can process more than 1000 variable codes per minute with dot matrix and four lines of text in the tobacco industry.
